Exciters for
turbo generators
Elmor S.A. manufactures brushless exciters for 68–80 MW turbo generators produced by ALSTOM. Production is based on documentation provided by the customer and carried out in compliance with strict technological standards.
Technical characteristics
The exciter armature, together with the rectifier system, is mounted on the turbo generator shaft. This design allows the excitation voltage to be supplied directly to the turbo generator field winding without the need for slip rings.
WBE-type exciters are equipped with a bearing support, while WBF-type exciters are not fitted with a bearing support.
