This Privacy Policy defines the rules for storing and accessing information on the User’s devices using Cookies, for the purpose of providing electronic services requested by the User, by ELMOR S.A. with its registered office in Gdańsk, ul. Spadochroniarzy 20.

§1 Definitions

Administrator – means ELMOR S.A. with its registered office in Gdańsk (80-298), ul. Spadochroniarzy 20, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court Gdańsk-Północ, 7th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000073929, NIP: 583-000-52-71, REGON: 190560600, which provides electronic services and stores and accesses information on the User’s devices.

Cookies – means IT data, in particular small text files, stored and saved on devices through which the User accesses the Service’s websites.

Administrator’s Cookies – means Cookies placed by the Administrator, related to the provision of electronic services by the Administrator through the Service.

External Cookies – means Cookies placed by the Administrator’s partners through the Service’s website.

Service – means the website operated by the Administrator under the domain elmor.com.pl.

Device – means an electronic device through which the User accesses the Service’s websites.

User – means an entity for whom electronic services may be provided in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law, or with whom an agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.

§2 Types of Cookies Used

1. The Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to enter Users’ Devices via this method. These files allow the identification of the software used by the User and enable the Service to be customized individually for each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the duration of their storage on the Device, and an assigned value.

2. The Administrator uses two types of Cookies:

Session CookiesThese are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the browser session ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or confidential information to be retrieved from the User’s Device.

Persistent Cookies: These are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until deleted. Ending a browser session or turning off the Device does not remove them from the User’s Device. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or confidential information to be retrieved from the User’s Device.

The User may limit or disable access of Cookies to their Device. If this option is used, the Service may still be used, except for functions which by their nature require Cookies.

§3 Purposes for Which Cookies Are Used

1. The Administrator uses its own Cookies for the proper configuration of the Service, in particular to:

    • adapt the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimize the use of the Service’s websites;

    • recognize the User’s Device and its location and appropriately display a website tailored to the User’s individual needs;

    • remember settings selected by the User and personalize the User interface, e.g. with regard to the selected language or region;

    • ensure the proper operation of affiliate programs, particularly enabling verification of referral sources directing Users to the Service’s websites.

4. The Administrator uses its own Cookies to remember the User’s location, in particular for proper configuration of selected Service functions, enabling the information provided to be tailored according to the User’s location.

5. The Administrator uses its own Cookies for analytics, research, and audience auditing, in particular to create anonymous statistics that help understand how Users use the Service’s websites, which enables improvements to their structure and content.

6. The Administrator uses its own Cookies for advertising services, in particular to tailor advertisements for third-party products and services displayed through the Service.

7. The Service Administrator uses External Cookies to allow Users to log into the Service via social networking sites using:

    • Facebook Connect (external cookie administrator: Meta Platforms or Facebook Ireland based in Ireland);

    • Google login (external cookie administrator: Google);

    • LinkedIn login (external cookie administrator: LinkedIn Ireland Limited based in Ireland).

8. The Service Administrator uses External Cookies to promote the Service through social networking websites:

    • plus.google.com (external cookie administrator: Google);

    • Facebook.com (external cookie administrator: Meta Platforms or Facebook Ireland based in Ireland).

9. The Service Administrator uses External Cookies to display reviews on the Service’s websites retrieved from the external website Opineo.

§4 Options for Specifying Conditions for Storage or Access by Cookies

Restricting the use of Cookies may affect certain functionalities available on the Service’s website.

The User may independently and at any time change settings regarding Cookies, specifying the conditions for storing and accessing Cookies on the User’s Device. The User may change the settings referred to above using browser settings or service configuration settings. These settings may be changed in particular to block the automatic handling of Cookies in browser settings or to notify the User each time Cookies are placed on their Device. The User may delete Cookies at any time using the functions available in the web browser they use.
